Here are the details for our May 27th Paperwork & Registration Night for the NMM Vikings. We will be holding our Annual Paperwork Night on Wednesday, May 27th from 6:30PM - 8:30PM in Norfolk @ The Freeman-Kennedy School, which is where we play all of our home games. The event will take place in the school's cafeteria adjacent to the main entrance.
During the course of the event I'll be presenting an overview of concussions in sports (at around 7:15PM) and why we, as an organization, have done so well to address how kids make contact during practice and games. I believe that it's important for all parents to more clearly understand that. The Vikings and Pop Warner programs, take the concussion issue very seriously and are doing everything possible to educate our kids on the best hitting and playing techniques to make it safer and more enjoyable for all of our kids and families.
The following must be submitted at paperwork and registration night (can also be scanned to us) in order to complete registration:

Since most won't be available until the last day of school, we will arrange for an alternate collection for your Report Cards.
We will also be taking preliminary weights.
For all of our cheerleaders you will have the opportunity to meet with Sarah Ball our Cheerleading Coordinator/Commissioner. This will be a great chance to speak with her about her vision of our program and meet many of the other cheerleaders. For all of the football players I of course will be there, but we will also have a number of the coaches in attendance for both players and parents to meet.
As always we will have our awesome Vikings' apparel and practice shorts and shirts available as well for preorder. So it's a good idea to remember your checkbook or cash for purchases.
"I'm happy to announce that in December of 2013 I joined the Board of Directors as the Association President. The focus of our program has been and will continue to be, our Kids; their development as players, dancers and cheerleaders, and the pure enjoyment that each of our kids take away from their participation in this great program.
We are proud to be celebrating our 44th year as the Vikings and looking forward to one of the best years ever. We have a great mix of long-term board support which brings in the knowledge of the program and the fresh & inspirational views of many new board members. The mix of existing and new members helps to generate great leadership and fantastic new ideas for the support and growth of the Vikings
I'm very excited to welcome all of our players, cheerleaders and parents back to the NMM Vikings, and look forward to meeting each and every one of you."
Thank you, Jim Caro President of the Board of Directors
